Hello and welcome to the land of unboring wedding photography!
My name is Buffy (she/her). I love grilled cheese sandwiches, excellent coffee, chocolate babka, neurodiversity, and RuPaul’s Drag Race. Chaotic Good vibes all the way!
I’m inspired by light, cool architecture, but most of all, the people I photograph - the love, the vibe, the moment, the subtle, beautiful things that you can never recreate. I take photos that will bring you back to your big day in a flash, photos that make you feel all the feels.
I used to be a professional photojournalist and was published in lots of papers and magazines, even extra fancy sounding things like Nat Geo and the Wall Street Journal. I’ve also photographed several national ad campaigns, and won international awards for both editorial and wedding photography.
Do you love adjectives as much as I do? What makes your photos different from all the other photographers out there?
Instead of following trends, I follow my heart. I observe you and your loved ones with compassion, and I create intuitive images that have heart, soul, and a sense of humour.
I’ll be there to tell your story, to crystallize all the big big love of your wedding day into images to help you and your family remember the depth and breadth of those feelings. Even the most powerful AI could never create photos that reflect how great you are together. You deserve photos that show your love and your joy, powerful storytelling images that you’ll enjoy for the rest of your life.
As a bonus, I might attempt to make you laugh by telling you really dumb jokes. I’ll also take literally hundreds of great candid photos of your chosen family loving on you on this huge, happy beautiful day.
I’m entirely dedicated to fucking up the patriarchy, and making things suck less in the wedding industry. I believe in inclusive, gender-neutral posing, and body positivity. I support everyone’s right to marry the person they love, and will not work with any vendor or venue who discriminates against a couple based on race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. (Please make sure to ask your venue if they support LGBTQI2+ weddings!)
