The hottest day of the summer, which is fitting because it was the wedding day of the hottest babes around! So much fun - and OMG that dress! OW! (as an aside - this was the first wedding I shot at the Foundry Room and it's such an awesome Edmonton wedding venue, I love it!) One memory that stands out is that Andrea made homemade boozy popsicles for cocktail hour and they were THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER TASTED. Maybe. Probably. Definitely.
edmonton wedding reception
Lindsay and Mike's wedding was chock full of laughter and tears, even the sky was crying! It rained cats and dogs all day long, which if you're superstitious means you will have a life filled with good luck and riches so YAY!
Umbrellas and cute boots made it fun to take photos outside, and the happy bride and groom took the soggy weather in stride. What I'll remember most about this wedding is how beamingly happy every single face was in that big church, and just how much these 2 value and love their close knot and super awesome families. Thanks to my great second shooter Jessica who took photos of Mike and the guys getting ready and helped me out with awesome shots throughout the day.
Here is part 2 of Harman and Ravneet's multi-day, multi-city superduperwedding - the big reception in Calgary!
We were lucky to have the perfect evening to get a few photos with Ravneet and Harman's gorgeous outfits, then we headed to the reception and enjoyed an unreal party, with awesome entertainment, food, and lots of laughs and sparkly beverages!
The spot we chose for "formal"photos was important to Harman's family - Harman showed me a photo of his parents when they were young and starting their family, standing in the exact same spot. The importance of family in Sikh weddings and Sikh culture in general is so amazing to see. I especially love to photograph all the family relationships at these events.
This weekend was so beautiful, and I know these two are destined for greatness together! All the best to Ravneet and Harman and your new life in sunny LA!
I'm going to call this one "Rainy day love story at paaaarty central!" (Sexy smooches in a rad old Ford Mustang are an added Hollywood-ish bonus touch!)

I cannot twitter how tweet these two lovebirds are!!!!
(George's job involves a lot of Twitter stuff, so even if you don't laugh at my dorky jokes, I'm going to!) You should also look at their doggy-filled gorgeous autumn engagement photo session, which is right here!
Also, a big huge thank you to Blake, my awesome second shooter!
