Robyn and Shaun's wedding at McDougall United, followed by their awesome reception at Shaw Conference Center was one of the highlights of 2017! They're basically the cutest couple ever, and their dog Douglas was a good boy in his little bow tie - anytime there's pets at weddings, I'm one happy photographer! One of my fave parts of the big day was their first look (with Douglas of course!) at the park in Richie near their house where they walk Douglas almost every day together. But there's lots of other faves - Robyn built the BEST photobooth full moon for guests to pose with, the outdoor patio reception was gorgeous - their first dance in the patio lights really went with that full moon gorgeousness theme. SO many personal handmade details and really sweet moments with family and loved ones - total dream wedding! Congrats, Douglas, on the marriage of your rad parents!

Priyanka and Clayton are just super sweethearts, and their intimate little wedding was held at the absolutely delicious and gorgeous Cafe Linnea. I gotta say that I looked forward to this day all summer long! My fave moments were their super happy first look, and of course this hilarious random dog with a cone who hung out with us during their photos after the ceremony.
Chloe and Shane planned a pretty autumn outdoor ceremony, but an intense early snowstorm meant a last minute change of venue. But it didn't matter one bit, these two took it in stride, and myself, along with a few nearest and dearest, experienced one of the most romantic and intimate ceremonies in a boardroom at their hotel. And of course we still explored outdoors to capture a little bit of that first snowfall magic before their family dinner at El Cortez (YUM!!!) We also took photos in their amazingly decorated space. These two have so much fun together, and I seriously loved photographing their day!
I've known Angela since she was a teenager because I LOVE her family's amazing vegan restaurant in Edmonton, Padmanadi. Every single thing on the menu is delicious (a blend of Indonesian, Chinese, Thai, and Indian veggie cuisine, please go there if you've never been) But more importantly, Angela's family is amazing - the most friendly, big hearted, loving people you will ever meet. I've spent hours chatting with Angela's father Kasim about everything under the sun, they treat all the people who have dined at their restaurant as family.
Wandy met Angela when he began working at the restaurant years ago, and their love blossomed over time, much like the lotus that grace their beautiful restaurant. If you've eaten at Padmanadi, you've been a witness to this special relationship. I was SO thrilled when they were engaged and beyond honored to photograph their wedding. It was also my first traditional Buddhist temple ceremony. I had a hard time making this post a reasonable length because this day was so emotional and special, but here are some of my very favorites !
