On this, the coldest day of the winter thus far, these photos make me feel warm and happy. I cannot wait to see what the future holds for these 2 lovebirds. A million congrats, Sam and Nathan!

Jade and Matt Edmonton wedding photographers

Jade and Matt are extra fun - I've been looking forward to their wedding, in the tiny town of Andrew, Alberta, in the cutest little rural Ukrainian Catholic Church, for ages!

Our photo plans all centered around the outdoors - Β the scenic family farm where Jade grew up, Β those perfect bright yellow canola fields, stunning countryside, abandoned buildings... and then the big day came! And it POURED! We're talking buckets of rain and crazy wind driving the rain sideways under our umbrellas! Yikes!

Sometimes things don't go as planned, but you roll with the punches. We all had the time of our lives hanging out at Andrew Bar, and we created some pretty unique photos there - super fun! I love quirky, unexpected photo locations. (And cheap cold draft beer = a happy wedding party!)

Then, the sky cleared 5 minutes before we were supposed to be at the reception - Jade got the outdoor photos she had wanted! Good luck all around!

Congrats to Jade and Matt, high school sweethearts, and all around great people. And thanks to my second shooter Derek for his help.

Kam and Sherri - day #3

Kam and Sherri - awesome day #2

And I was with the girls, who were gettin' all prettied up too! Calgary Wedding Photographer I am totally in love with these shoes. One of the bridesmaids made a joke that these lovely Louboutins were made from unicorn hide - hilarious! So sparkly!

Awesome! We came back to the same intersection where we'd encountered the tourists an hour before, and were this time mobbed by a parade of RABBITS.

Thanks, Calgary, for keeping it weird. Just my style!

I have no idea what kind of an event this was, but it sure was hilarious.

Calgary Wedding Photographer Calgary Wedding Photographer We headed over to Kam's sisters house to greet his family for the Pani vaarna ceremony, where the bride is greeted by her new family and given gifts of jewelry.

As you can tell, Mathew and I had an amazing time with these two! And there's even one more day of fun to hit the good old blog soon!
